1) найти на различных сайтах интернет-ресурсов известные песни о войне на английском языке;

2) организовать среди обучающихся 4-х классов работу по переводу песен на русский язык;

и https://textpesni2.ru.

Said good-bye».

Мною  собран  сборник  песен на английском языке о войне под названием «Russian  songs  about war in English».

      Варианты  ответов:

А) наличие в песнях  слов, похожих на звучание русских слов;

Б) наличие  в песнях известных  вам  слов на английском языке;

Russian  songs  about war in English».

The Sacred War

1. Stand up, enormous country,

Stand up for deadly fight

Against the dark Fascist force,

Against the damned hord!

Chorus:

May the noble fury

Boil like a wave, -

The people's war is on

The Sacred War!

2. Let's resist to the душителям

Of all the fiery ideas,

To the violators, to the robbers,

To the torturers of the people!

Chorus:

May the noble fury

Boil like a wave, -

The people's war is on

The Sacred War!

3. The black wings won't dare

To fly over my Fatherland

The enemy will never be able

To tramp its vast fiels.

Chorus:

May the noble fury

Boil like a wave, -

The people's war is on

The Sacred War!

4. The putrid Fascist scums

We'll drive a bullet into its forehead,

To the rubbish of the mankind

We'll make a strong coffin!

Chorus (x2):

May the noble fury

Boil like a wave, -

The people's war is on

The Sacred War!

Dark in the Night

Dark in the night.

Bullet’s whistling all over the steppe,

Only wind’s humming up in the wires,

Only stars dimly twinkle.

Dark in the night,

You, my darling, not sleep in your bed,

And, when quietly cradling the crib,

Wipe away secret tears.

Love for your eyes!

Their depth gently touches my heart.

What I desire,

Just to kiss them again so lightly.

This very night,

Separated us greatly, my Love!

And this frightening black winter steppe has lain down between us.

Still I believe,

Trusting you, dear spouse of mine.

In these dark nights, only this faith,

Kept me safe from a bullet.

Feeling of joy,

Makes me calm in the deadliest battle,

Knowing, you always meet me with love,

No matter what happened.

No fear of death,

I have met it, not once in the steppe,

It is spinning above me in air,

Now and then, or elsewhere.

Waiting for me,

You are awake, staying by baby’s bed,

And I know, forever and now,

No wrong to me will happen.

Blue Shawl

This modest blue shawl I remember,

That's dropping from shoulders yours,

You used to tell me, you 'd never forgotten,

Ours tender and joyful dates.

.....By time of nightfall,

We were parting, my friend!

No more the nights, when we meet,

Where are you, the Blue Shawl,

My dear, desired and sweet?

...Since I remember this evening,

When the shawl had fallen, all years,

You said Good-by to me,

And promised to keep it,

That little blue shawl of yours.

...Let you're not more with me,

But still you're my love an' in my heart,

I know you have hidden,

At your bed-side that's forbidden,

That dear blue shawl of yours.

...When letters from you I'm getting,

I can hear your voice as if alive,

And I can see clearly, just in between lines,

That little blue shawl of yours!

And often while to the battle,

Your face always follows me,

I could see you not once,

With your loving glance,

You ever have stayed with me.

The evening at outer harbor

Let's sing, my friends, for tomorrow we march on

We'll leave before dawn in the fog

Let's sing cheerfully and may sing along,

Our grey-haired combat captain.

 Chorus:

Farewell, beloved city!

We leave tomorrow at sea.

And just before dawn will flash by the stern

Your blue familiar shawl.

And the evening again as good as can be,

That not to sing we simply can't.

On friendship that's great, on service at sea,

Let's sing along together my friends.

 Chorus:

 Farewell, beloved city!

We leave tomorrow at sea.

And just before dawn will flash by the stern

Your blue familiar shawl.

On big outer harbour the silence lay,

And the sea was enveloped in fog.

And our dear shore is kissed by the wave,

And quiet sound of accordion floats.

 Chorus:

Farewell, beloved city!

We leave tomorrow at sea.

And just before dawn will flash by the stern

Your blue familiar shawl.

The Bryansk forest was making a harsh noise

The Bryansk forest was making a harsh noise,

Blue fog came down,

And the pine trees heard around,

How the partisans walked, how they walked along the path.

And the pine trees heard around,

How the partisans walked, how they walked along the path.

And on a formidable night,

They attacked the enemies, the fascist headquarters.

And the bullets sonorously whistled between the trunks

In the oakwoods of Bryansk.

In the forests there is no salvation for the enemies,

Soviet grenades are flying,

And the commander shouts after them:

''Smash, smash the invaders, guys''!

And the commander shouts after them:

''Smash, smash the invaders, guys''!

The Bryansk forest was making a harsh noise,

Blue fog came down,

And the pine trees heard around,

How the partisans walked, how they walked along the path.

And the pine trees heard around,

How the partisans walked, how they walked with victory along the path.

'Fierce 41th'

Fierce 41th has

Launched a big assault

Under village Kryukovo

A platoon won't hold.

No grenades, no bullets

And no means to fight,

And of all those living from the element

Seven have survived.

Mothers will be shedding

Tears all night long.

Under village Kryukovo

A platoon’s forlorn.

It will not surrender. No.

It will not retreat…

Though of all those living from the element

Seven still proceed.

The lieutenant shouts:

“Forward, boys! Come on!”

Under village Kryukovo

A platoon’s forlorn.

But the red-hot bayonets

Strike for sure straight

And of all those living from the element

Seven have remained.

Distant 41th now

All aflame is gone…

Under village Kryukovo

A platoon goes on.

Paying their tribute

They are standing still

Seven fellows are on guard of honour

At the mournful hill

I has been so destined

And it’s not in vain

Under village Kryukovo

They should meet again

The memorial place where

That platoon made best

The memorial where a pine-tree rustles

And a bird makes nests.

A Hilltop With No Name

A grove was blazing red and yellow

A crimson sunset was alight

We were a group of eighteen fellows

But only three of us survived...

How very few good friends we cherished

Lived through the night to see the day

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name...

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name.

Against the night sky in the distance

A flare was falling like a star

In spite of facing strong resistance

No one would think of losing heart...

And anyone who saw that battle

Remembers those who still remain

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name...

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name.

The hill was under heavy fire

With dazzling blasts and bombing raids

And at that moment we desired

To strengthen friendships we had made...

Against the odds, we climbed the hill side

And loyal to our dream remained

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name...

Besideanunfamiliarvillage

Upon a hilltop with no name.

I close my eyes and see their faces

Inside our dugout in the pines

As if we're sharing our embraces

Despite the years we left behind...

As if we are all back together

And on the battle front again

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name...

Beside an unfamiliar village

Upon a hilltop with no name.

In The Dugout

The fire flickers in the cramped small stove

There is resin on the logs like a tear

And an accordion sings to me in the dugout

About your smile and your eyes

The bushes were whispering to me about you

In the snow white fields just outside Moscow.

I would like you to hear

How my cheery voice yearns

You are now far, far away.

Between us there is snow and more snow.

It is not easy for me to get to you

And there are four paces to death

Sing, accordion, in spite of the blizzard.

Call for lost happiness.

There is warmth in the cold dugout for me

From your unquenchable love.

Dusky Girl

Somehow in the summer at dawn

I glanced into a nearby garden.

There a dusky Moldavian girl

Is picking grapes

I blush, I turn pale

Suddenly I wanted to say:

“Shall we go onto the river

To greet the summer dusk?”

Bushy, verdant, lobed leaf maple

I am in love and embarrassed in front of you.

Verdant maple and crinkly

And bushy, lobed maple

But the dusky Moldavian girl

Replied to the guy likewise:

“We Moldavian partisans

Are assembling a squad

Early today, partisans

Abandoned their dear homes.

A road awaits you

To the partisans in the dense woods”

Bushy, verdant, lobed leaf maple.

Here by the maple we will part company with one another.

Verdant maple and crinkly

And bushy, lobed maple

And the dusky Moldavian girl

Went along a track into the woods.

I took offence

That she did not summon me with her

I often thought at night

About the dusky Moldavian girl.

I met my dusky girl suddenly

In a squad

Bushy, verdant, lobed leaf maple.

Hello chap, my bonny, my dear.

Verdant maple and crinkly

And bushy, lobed maple

                                             Cossacks in Berlin
On the pavement
The horses walked to the pond,
Went on, shaking his mane,
Horses
Singing riding:
"Hey, guys, is not the first time
We water the horses Cossack
From the foreign of the river."
Chorus:
Cossacks, the Cossacks,
Go, go to Berlin
Our Cossacks.
He horses led  slowly
See: the girl with the flag
And with косою under the cap
In the corner stands.
Straightened, like the vine,
Turquoise my eyes are burning.
"don't slow motion!"
A Cossack shouts.
The chorus.
Stay if he pleased,
But he caught his angry eyes,
"Well, guys, March for me!" -
He shouted at the gallop.
Dashing cavalry passed,
And divchina blossomed,
A tender glance -- not on the Charter
Gives a Cossack.
The chorus.
On the pavement
Again came riding,
About your love to girl
Sings like this:
"Though far blue don,
Though far sweet home,
But countrywoman and in Berlin
Met Kazak..."
The chorus.

A light.

The position of the girl
Saw a fighter,
In the dark night said «Good-bye»
On the steps of the porch.
And as long as the fog
See could lad,
On the box to the virgin
All was a light.

Guy met a nice
Frontline family,
Everywhere were the companions,
Everywhere were friends,
But a familiar street
Forget he could not:
"Where are you going, dear girl,
Where do you go, my light?"
And a distant friend
The guy sends a message,
That love her maiden
Will never die.
All that was загадано,
All will be executed in time,-
Do not go out without time
The Golden light.
And roomy, and happily
At the heart of a fighter
A good,
From her письмеца.
And the hated enemy
Stronger beats boy
For the Soviet Motherland,
For the light.
                                                                Katusha

Blossoms grace the apple trees and pear trees.
Mist upon the river floated by.
Down Katusha came to gather berries
On the cliff top rising steep and high.

There she walked and there she started singing
Of the dove-grey eagle of the steppe
Of the one that she had her heart winging
Of the one whose letters she had kept.

Song of love her maiden love declaring,
Chase the sun and speed without delay.
Warmest greetings from Katusha bearing
To the border guard man far away.

Let the boy his village girl remember,
Let him hear her love of tenderness,
Let him guard his native land forever,
And Katusha guard her love no less.

Blossoms filled the apple trees and pear trees,
Mist upon the river floated by,
Down Katusha came to gather berries
On the cliff top rising steep and high.
